How cross-play works

Cross-play, also known as cross-play, is the feature that allows you to play with people who are connected on systems other than your own. That is, thanks to it you can join players from other platforms.

Thus, if you play from the PS4 version, another of your friends from PC and another from iOS or Android, you can join in the same game without any problem .

How does cross save work?

The cross-save is the function with which your progress will be saved in your account and you will be able to continue where you left off if you jump to another platform. The bad thing is that in Genshin Impact it is not active between all platforms and it only works between PC, iOS and Android .

Unfortunately the PS4 version falls short in this regard, so anything you do on the Sony console won’t be able to be brought to your computer or mobile devices.

This is because the cross-save is linked to each one’s email account , so as long as a user uses the same account on PC, iOS and Android, they can continue with the same game. On the other hand, since it is not possible to connect by email on PS4, that is why it is not compatible with this function.
